Save Eveline From Her Shopping OCD

Because my shopping habits were bordering on obsessive compulsive - I would buy stuff because they were pretty, but not wear them, or even forget I bought an apparel until it comes out to haunt me months later - I decided that starting up my own fashion line would be my best remedy.

But because I am also a coward when it comes to risk-taking, renting my own shop space was also a no-no. I didn't want to end up a penniless housewife. Plus, writing is still my first love.

So my mum, who has her own antique furniture shop, agreed to transform a section of her shop into a cosy, fashion niche where I now hawk my wares.

I'll be posting up stuff from my collection soon.

Please feel free to purchase them from me online. As this blog is only open to close friends, I'll be selling them at around 30 per cent less than the original prices in the shop.

Any profits made goes to the Daily Diaper Fund for Jubilee :)

By the way, for those who haven't seen Jubi for ages, here's an updated picture. She's 22 months now and thinks the toilet bowl is way uncool for her royal ass.

I'm back, with an extra year's worth of wrinkles.

Hi girls,

I'm sorry that I've been missing in action for so long - over a year to be precise. Before the Fat Lady takes another step towards the abyss, I've decided to revive her. So here, I am. A year older, with extra wrinkles and a slower metabolism. And I promise I'll update regularly, if you care to hear my whining :)

Plenty has happened over the past year. A few people I know have passed on.

Among them is my dearest chor chor (greatgrandmother), who brought me up from babyhood without a word of complain and whom my entire childhood memory is centred on - the walks to the wet market, the 50-cents goldfish she bought me, the dreadfully tight plaits I'd to suffer because she believes all little girls ought to have neat hair.

She left, and so did a part of me. I never once told her thank you for your unconditional love, and how much I loved her. I don't know if I will ever meet her again to tell her that.

Two of my cats went bald, literally, pining for chor chor. They used to share her bed.

Then, my brother got married. Now, my little nephew is on his way.

Funny how life is :)
